Giant Boulder Crushes Car, Part of Home in Ohio
Posted on March 22, 2012
A 7-meter diameter boulder rolled down from a hillside and crushed a car and part of a house in Ohio. The residents were safe because they were in another part of the home. It also took down power lines on its way down.
Crews are going to use jackhammers to remove the rock. This will take them at least a week. A local report on the boulder can be found here
The Ohio boulder is about a third of the size of the LACMA Rock, which was delivered to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
