Video: Scientists Try to Determine Maximum Size of the Biggest Dinosaur

Scientists used analysis of dinosaur bone density and computer generated stress simulations to determine how heavy the largest dinosaur could have been. The largest and heaviest dinosaurs were titanosaurs, a group of enormous herbivores. The longest and heaviest land animal fossil ever discovered was of an Argentinosaurus - a genus of titanosaur - which weighed over 90 tons. Scientists believe a 120 ton titanosaur could have existed. Simulations show herbivores much larger than this could not have supported their own weight. Take a look:
