Video: Neil deGrasse Tyson Explains the Transit of Venus

Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, director of New York's Hayden Planetarium, explains the Transit of Venus, which occurs today. Tyson says the Sun will show a dark circular disc moving across its surface. The transit, which will not occur again until 2117, also has historical significance. Tyson says the Transit of Venus has been a litmus test of people's ability to measure movement in the solar system. Take a look:
