Video: Gliding Tree Snake Pursues Flying Dragon in Indonesian Jungle

Two reptiles that live in the Indonesian jungle are noteworthy for their ability to travel through the air. The gliding tree snake can glide from tree to tree by launching itself into the air. The Flying Dragon (Draco volans) is able to glide from tree to tree at distances of up to 30 feet. It spreads out folds of skin (attached to movable ribs) that resemble wings, which help it stay airborne. The gliding tree snake wants to eat a Flying Dragon in this video, but the lizard easily escapes by gliding to another tree. Take a look:
