TailBot is a Miniature Tail Assisted Running and Jumping Robot

Researchers at Michigan State University created this little tail assisted jumping robot called TailBot. The robot was inspired by research published in Nature. The little 7.5 centimeter tall robot is capable of running, jumping and aerial maneuvering. TailBot can jump over ten times its body size. TailBot lies down when it wants to run.
