Surveillance Camera Captures Henryville Tornado as it Hit School Bus

Henryville, Indiana was hit by a powerful EF4 tornado on March 2 during the early March 2012 tornado outbreak. A school complex in Henryville was heavily damaged by the tornado, but everyone inside the school survived.

A camera on one of the school buses captured the tornado as it hit the bus. ABC News reports that the bus driver, Angel Perry, made the right decision to evacuate the bus, which was carrying 11 children. She and the children headed back into the school. The tornado hit the bus minutes later, lifted it off the ground and threw it into a diner. This video from ABC News contains footage from a surveillance camera located inside the bus. Take a look:
