Several States in U.S. in 120 Degree Club

Several U.S. states are in the 120 degree club. They include California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, South Dakota and North Dakota.

Death Valley hit 134 degrees Fahrenheit (57.6 degrees Celsius) in 1913 to set the U.S. record. 136 degrees Fahrenheit (57.8 degrees Celsius), recorded in Al 'Aziziyah, Libya, is the hottest temperature ever recorded on Earth. Wikipedia has list of temperature records by country here. Take a look:
