Senseless Drawing Robot Serves All Your Graffiti Needs

Posted on November 17, 2011

So Kanno and Takahiro Yamaguchi designed what they call the "Senseless Drawing Bot." The robot is programmed to randomly spray paint on whatever wall it is parked next to. The creators wanted to explore the concept of graffiti, as well as the mechanical motions that would be necessary for a robot to mimic a graffiti artist's work. The bot was on display last month in Tokyo. This is very bad news for graffiti artists. In the future we will have no need for graffiti artists: their work will be outsourced to Japanese robots.
