Robotic Baby Boy Makes Realistic Looking Expressions

Hanson Robotics released this video of Diego-San, a robotic baby boy with an expressive face. The robot was created by David Hanson and Hanson Robotics for the Machine Perception Lab at the UCSD Institute for Neural Computation. Hanson Robotics built the robot's face, which was mounted a body by Kokoro. The researchers say the robot has a high definition camera in its eyes, which it uses to see people, gestures, expressions. It uses an A.I. modeled on human babies. Here is a video of the robot boy making several different expressions. Take a look:
