Robot Inspired by Velociraptor Runs at 46 km/h

Researches at he Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) have built a robot capable of hitting speeds of 46 km/h (28.5 mph) on a treadmill. The robot was inspired by the velociraptor. The robot is attached to a beam as its run furiously on a treadmill. It has a spinning tail and doesn't fall even when blocks are thrown out in front of it on the treadmill.

Automaton reports that the robot temporarily hit 48 km/h, but was not completely stable at that speed. Automaton says the researchers at KAIST want to build an even faster and more stable version of the raptor bot. Take a look:
