Robot Discovers Three Chambers Under Temple of the Feathered Serpent at Teotihuacan

Archaeology reports that researchers from the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) discovered three chambers under the Temple of the Feathered Serpent, a pyramid at Teotihuacan in Mexico.

A robot, named Tlaloc II, traveled along a 2,000-year-old tunnel to discover the chambers. It is possible these chambers may have been used for royal burials, which would be a fascinating find. Archaeology notes that "no depictions of the city's rulers or their burials have ever been found." Take a look:
