Researchers Train Orangutans on the iPad

MJ and Mahal, two orangutans at the Milwaukee County Zoo, are taking part in an iPad enrichment program. Orangutans can be seen using their fingers to draw on the iPad with an app called DrawFree in the video below. Live Science reports that researchers hope to be able to connect orangutans at zoos nationwide using iPads and Skype. Several zoos have already signed on for the program, but first the curious orangutans have to learn how to use the iPads. Take a look:
