Preview of PBS Nature's Radioactive Wolves Episode Shows Abandoned Pripyat

Pripyat, Ukraine has been a ghost town for 25 years following the Chernobyl disaster. The town is located near the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. It remains too radioactive for human habitation. However, signs warning of radiation can not keep out plants or birds, fish, bison, wolves and other creatures. PBS Nature is running an episode, called "Radioactive Wolves," that will air Wednesday, October 19. Here is a chilling intro for the episode that shows plant life overtaken the abandoned city of Pripyat. Take a look:
