Pigs Interact With Large Touchscreen in Pig Chase iPad Game

Scientists have created an iPad game that pigs and humans can play together. The game, called Pig Chase, includes a huge touchscreen placed in a pig pen that is powered by an iPad app. Pigs play the game by following a human controlled ball of light on the large touch sensitive display. When a pig touches the ball of light it fires off colorful sparks. The ball of light fizzles out if it does not maintain contact with a pig's snout. The game, designed by Kars Alfrink, Irene van Peer and Hein Lagerweij, was created to help relieve the boredom of pigs and to learn more about pig behavior and pig intelligence. Take a look:
