Panasonic Researchers Develop Artificial Photosynthesis System

Researchers at Panasonic have developed a device called the Artificial Photosynthesis System. The system can reduce CO2 levels as efficiently as some plants. Like plants, the system uses sunlight to produce oxygen and organic substances from water and carbon dioxide. Panasonic says a future system based on this device could absorb CO2 in factories and produce ethanol. Take a look:
