NAO Robot Plays Connect Four

This video shows the NAO robot playing the Connect Four board game. NAO studies the board and asks for a chip when he ready to make a move. HumaRobotics, the creators of the software for NAO, say the algorithm NAO used to play Connect Four is entirely based on the embedded PC of NAO and on its own cameras. HumaRobotics says no additionel sensor or processing units were used. In the not too far off future, affordable toy robots will be smart enough and coordinated enough to play board games with children. This could be fun, providing the little robots are not so smart they win every time and make the young humans sad. Take a look:
