Louisiana Sinkhole Captured Swallowing Trees on Video

This video, shot by an Assumption Parish official, captured a huge Louisiana sinkhole swallowing more trees. The Advocate reports that the sinkhole is now 25 acres in size. It has been expanding since August, 2012 and is believed to be the result of a salt dome cavern failure. The sinkhole may be hundreds of feet deep in places. The edge-collapse captured in the video is known as a "slough-in." Take a look:
