Joggobot is a Quadcopter That Flies Next to Joggers

Researchers at the Exertion Games Lab at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia have created Joggobot, a Parrot AR.Drone that flies above you as you run. Eberhard Grather and Floyd Mueller at the Exertion Games Lab modified the software on the drone to develop Joggobot.

Joggobot tracks markers on a t-shirt worn by the jogger using its built-in camera. The robot flies slightly in front of the jogger because of concern people might feel chased if Joggobot was following behind them.

Eberhard Grather says the robot could help be useful for people who do not have anyone to run with. It could also help people who have just started running. Take a look:
