Japanese Researchers Develop Wearable Telepresence Robot

Automaton reports on the MH-2, which is a small, wearable telepresence robot developed by Japanese researchers at Yamagata University. The MH-2 hooks on to your shoulder and enables a friend to travel with you by using the little robot as an avatar. Your friend can see what the MH-2 sees and can communicate sound and actions through the telepresence robot by using a Kinect-like setup. Take a look:
