Japanese Researchers Develop Girlfriend Coat for Lonely People

Japanese researchers at the University of Tsukuba have developed a girlfriend coat. The coat, called the Riajyuu Coat, gives the wearer the feeling of being hugged from behind by a girlfriend. The coat contains a belt around the waist that tightens to generate the hugging feeling. Headphones are also worn so the wearer can hear their "girlfriend" utter phrases like, "I'm sorry! I'm late."
