The Glaucus is a Quadrupedal Soft Robot With No Hard Mechanical Parts

Super-Releaser has announced its new quadrupedal soft robot called The Glaucus. It is named after the Blue Sea Slug (Glaucus atlanticus).
The air-powered soft robot has hollow interior chambers that interdigitate with one another. When one of the chambers is pressurized it deforms and bends the structure of the robot, which produces the walking motion. The company sees applications for medicine in the technology they have developed, such as orthotic cuffs and prosthetic sleeves. Take a look:
