Elon Musk Details Hyperloop Transport System

Elon Musk has detailed his futuristic looking Hyperloop transport system, which could take passengers from Los Angeles to San Francisco in 30 minutes. The Hyperloop transport system is described in Business Week.

The solar powered system would involve transporting people inside pods through steel tubes. The pods could reach speeds of up to 800 mph as they travel inside the nearly frictionless tube like air hockey pucks.

Slate reports that Musk is currently too busy on his other projects, including Tesla Motors and SpaceX, to build the Hyperloop himself. Take a look:
