Da Vinci Surgical Robot Peels a Grape

A Da Vinci surgical robot was on display at Southmead Hospital on September 28 2011 to help raise awareness of men's cancers. Southmead Hospital was among the first in the UK to have a surgical robot for urology.

Urology fellow Ramesh Thurairaja used the robot to peel a grape for the audience. PopSci reports that there are now 1,000 Da Vinci surgical robots worldwide. Take a look:
