Creepy Insect Animation Created for Planetarium

New Scientist reports that this creepy animation was intented for the dome-shaped screens at a planetarium. The screen fills up with more and more insects and spiders until finally the dome cracks and bugs appear to pour down on the audience below. It would be sure to creep out at least a few people at the planetarium, especially if they were expecting to view stars and planets and not insects. The animation was created by digital artists at the Morehead Planetarium & Science Center. Take a look:
