Condition Causes Fingernails to Grow From Woman's Hair Follicles

A medical mystery is causing fingernails to grow from a woman's hair follicles. The condition began Shanyna Isom had an allergic reaction to a steroid used to treat asthma. The skin condition causes great pain and made it impossible for her to walk. She eventually went to Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore to seek treatment after attempts to cure her failed elsewhere. Doctors at Johns Hopkins determined that her skin follicles produce human nails. Fortunately, the doctors have been able to find a way to control her strange symptoms. However, Shanyna is now suffering from a financial crisis due to the medical bills. Take a look:
