Boxing Robot Shadows a Person's Movements

PC World reports that robot builder Naoki Maru was inspired by the Real Steel movie to make Real King Kizer, a boxing robot that shadows a person's movements. The robot uses an Asus Xtion Pro Live sensor (a device similar to Kinect) to capture a person's movements. The robot then tries to mimic the movements. Real King Kizer currently punches in a slow, nonthreatening manner, but King Kizer could become more menacing if his punches are sped up with a future upgrade.
