Bahrain and Kuwait Report First Coronavirus Cases

Bahrain and Kuwait have reported their first cases of the novel coronavirus Covid-19. Each case involved people traveling from Iran.Arab News reports that three people in Kuwait have been confirmed to have the virus according to Kuwait's state news agency KUNA. The cases include a Saudi national.
In Bahrain, Gulf News reports that the patient will be treated at the Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Medical Centre. The Bahrain health ministry is monitoring contacts of the patient. The ministry is also asking anyone with Covid-19 symptoms to call 444.
The Ministry says in a statement: "The Ministry calls upon all citizens and residents who are experiencing symptoms of COVID19, including a fever, coughing and difficulty breathing, or those who have traveled to one of the countries infected with the disease or have interacted with a person traveling from any of those locations, or interacted with an infected patient, to isolate themselves, call ‪444, and follow the instructions given by the medical team, and avoid close contact with others."
The cases were exported from Iran where an outbreak of the virus is occurring. Iran has 43 confirmed cases and eight deaths.
