Antlion Larvae Build Pits to Capture Ants

This video from National Geographic shows how antlion larvae capture ants. The antlion larvae build cone-shaped pits to capture ants. The larvae wait at the bottom of the pit for an ant to slip into the pit. Once an ant falls into the pit the antlion larvae attacks. If an ant tries to get out of the pit the antlion pummels it with sand so it slips back down. Take a look:
