Boston Dynamics Unveils WildCat Robot

Boston Dynamics has unveiled its WildCat robot, which was designed to run fast on flat terrain. The robotics developer says its WildCat can run at 16 mph (25.7 km/h) on flat terrain.

WildCat runs around a parking lot using a bounding and galloping gait in the video. The robot can also make sharp at quick speeds. Boston Dynamics also created a Cheetah bot that reached speeds of 28.3 mph (45.5 km/h), but WildCat is untethered and outdoors, while the super fast Cheetah bot was tethered when it hit 28.3 mph (45.5 km/h).
